'LUB YOU'

Lub You - (2026)
Acrylic and mixed media on canvas

‘LUB YOU’ says exactly what it means: LUB YOU. “Lub”, with a B, is a Blak way of saying “love” soft, familiar and full of affection. The work expresses what Aretha Brown wants people to feel when they encounter her work: that they are loved.
